HEAR OUR PLEA MR PRESIDENT(NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO ADDO).

 As a concern Patriot of Yendi Constituency, I write to humbly appeal to the president His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  and the vice president Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia  to kindly include our Member of parliament for Yendi Constituency in their yet to be released deputies.

Mr president, just as the Manhyia constituency in the Ashanti region cannot be neglected in the NPP administration, Yendi which  is the fulcrum of NPP in the northern region should not also be neglected.

In reality Hon Alhajj Farouk Aliu Mahama  has demonstrated a good sense of humour in the entire northern region. He contributed to the 50% seats we had in the region of which the regional executives can testify.

In History, he has set an unprecedented record in the Yendi Constituency.

Mr president, kindly permit me to take you back in1996 to 2020 elections, and the political indicators of how the previous Mp's were awarded per their performance in the Constituency.

Mr president, below is the pattern of political dynamics in the Yendi Constituency from 1996 to 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Mr president, the 2020 elections was not an easy fought battle, but with the good and humanitarian works of our outstanding MP, he was able to deliver more than what he promised you. History has it that since 1996 to date, no candidate has been able to cross over 60% votes in the constituency except Hon Alhajj Farouk Aliu Mahama. And it is also on record that no NPP candidate/member of parliament in the Yendi constituency has ever been neglected under the NPP regime. I ask a question why must it be him under your regime of which he gave the party more than what it was expected mr president?

Mr president, neglecting him in your appointments means neglecting over 45.000 people who he was able to influence to give you their mandate which contributed greatly to the victory of NPP in the 2020 elections. 

Mr president, the major priority of the current NPP is to break the 8, and how do we break the 8 in the northern region when the key star of Dagbang and the light of the north is seems to be neglected.

Mr president, we therefore plead with you to reconsider your decision by including The Northern Light (Umar Farouk Aliu Mahama) in to your yet to be released deputy minister.
