YOUTH TO BOYCOTT EASTERN CORRIDOR ROAD This is from the concerned citizens of yendi.  Following our earlier press release expressing our dissatisfaction about review of the project design, we had to do more consultations regarding the project . Based on the consultations,we resolved that the concerned citizens collaborates with Assembly members to petition the Ghana Highways Authority . The signed petition has been delivered to the Ghana Highways Authority and copied to the relevant offices. Please find copies of the petition attached.  We are given the Ghana Highways Authority 28 days to address our concerns failing which advise ourselves with other lawful options available to us.  Yendi water project must start now. Water they say is life. Our very existence and livelihoods today depends entirely on water,but life becomes complicated when We try to play Politics with issues of its magnitude. The Yendi water supply was build in 1941 and since then it has never undergone any rehabilitation,fast forward the populates and surrounding towns,along its economic growth and their demands is now more than it can supply,in the year 2007 life’s were lost as a result of children going to fetch at nearby villages. Procrastination Lead it to 2015,2017 and recently 2021 respectively,there was was serious water shortages as a result of the dam been dried yet again but however for the first time in all these instances there is a Yaa Naa at the realm of the kingdom And the Current President and his entourage came and led him to a sod cut of a water project project worth $30 million but nothing yet has been done .  Can the people still uphold parties colors over the inter...

 FAROUK-ALIU-MAHAMA PARTNERS AL-YASEEN GHANA TO BUILD SCHOOL COMPLEX, MOSQUE AND CLINIC IN YENDI In his bid to give back to society and to do the will of Allah in his 40th year, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama is cooperating with the Al-Yaseen Ghana to build an educational and health facilities for the good people of Yendi. These projects, as part of the New Yendi City, are a result of established engagement and positive partnership. The whole project comprises of a 300 capacity Mosque, 6 classrooms, 3 Bedrooms for Students, Library, Administration Block, Mini community Clinic and a play ground for children. The ground breaking is scheduled to take place on 27th April, the birthdate of the Honorable MP.

 As a concern Patriot of Yendi Constituency, I write to humbly appeal to the president His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  and the vice president Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia  to kindly include our Member of parliament for Yendi Constituency in their yet to be released deputies. Mr president, just as the Manhyia constituency in the Ashanti region cannot be neglected in the NPP administration, Yendi which  is the fulcrum of NPP in the northern region should not also be neglected. In reality Hon Alhajj Farouk Aliu Mahama  has demonstrated a good sense of humour in the entire northern region.  Nuhu Razak popularly known as Boster  who  is the PRO for Destination music (Destiny  b).He was also a formal show organizer in the eastern corridor and he  complains about the music industry that we have in the eastern corridor concerning how the show organizers in that site are not fair to the artists they used for their event. He said that our so called show organizers in the eastern corridor are not helping our artists they are rather using them for their selfish interest particular DROGBA entertainment.
